Feeding
Your baby is getting closer to eating family meals. Keep offering breast milk or formula until 12 months, and plan the move to whole cow’s milk after the first birthday if you are not breastfeeding.
Sleep
Most babies still take 2 naps. Keep the bedtime routine short and predictable. Put your baby down on their back on a firm, flat surface with nothing loose in the cot.
Your checklist this month
- Choose soft, flexible shoes only for walking outdoors: bare feet are best indoors.
- Plan the 12-month check-up and vaccinations.
- Keep hot drinks out of reach.
