Your baby at 10 weeks

This week marks the end of the embryonic period: the baby is now called a fetus. The vital organs are in place and will keep growing and maturing. Tiny nails are beginning to form.

Your body at 10 weeks

Your waist may be starting to thicken. Nausea and tiredness often continue, but for many they begin to ease over the next few weeks.

Your checklist this week

  • Make sure your first-trimester blood tests are booked or done.
