Your baby at 31 weeks

All five senses are working. The baby can turn its head from side to side and is spending more time awake and alert.

Your body at 31 weeks

Some people notice a little yellowish fluid leaking from their breasts. This is colostrum, the first milk, and it is completely normal.

Your checklist this week

  • Start packing your hospital bag.
  • Buy or borrow an infant car seat if you will be travelling home by car.
  • Use breast pads if colostrum leaks.
