The lanugo hair is starting to disappear, and the brain is growing quickly. The baby’s bone marrow is now making red blood cells.

Your body at 30 weeks

Tiredness often returns in the third trimester. You may feel emotional or anxious about the birth, which is very normal.

  • Start writing a birth plan to share with your care team.
  • Think about what to pack in your hospital bag.
  • Talk to your doctor or midwife if low mood or anxiety are affecting you.
